Pro’s: Can be used in many ways. Will replace my 8 foot step ladder
and I needed a 10 foot step ladder and an extension ladder and now I
have one. This is my second ladder and it is much more sturdy than the
first one (the first one looked like it had been well used and then
returned).
Con’s: This thing is heavy. It is a bit awkward to
move around. Hands get dirty because of the aluminum. I do not think
this is necessary. Also have to watch your fingers when you set it up or
you may lose one! Not sure of how long it will stand up as I did get
one before and it was really lose and unstable, but this one seems good.
All
in all I think it is good. I will keep it but it is not a 5 star unit.
But with a few fixes at the factory, I think it could be a 5 star
ladder.
As a firefighter, I strongly reccomend escape ladders to people who live on or above the second floor. If a fire starts at night on the first floor smoke detectors on the second or third floors may or may not activate and wake up building occupants before superheated gasses and fire make escape through the first floor an impossability. Buy whatever brand you want but make sure it’s appropriate for your specific needs. Ensure if you live on the third or fourth floor you buy a ladder that long or longer. Take into consideration overhangs under windows that will effect the length of the ladder. Make sure escape ladder fits the window. Use only if all other exits are blocked. Practice opening the ladder and dropping it out the window, but not using it.

bit longer than the old deadbolts but not really an issue with the lock.

We just bought this bench for our patio. It was very simple to put together (only 4 pieces), the instructions good and design simple. It’s sturdy and we love how it looks. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because the measurements in the product deion are misleading. The height and length are spot on but the depth is listed at 30. I was presuming that the seat depth was close to that but it’s not even 20 inches deep. I was hoping to put thick cushions on the back and have it be much deeper. I’m disapointed with that but love the overall product otherwise. We also couldn’t figure out how to attach the back cushions.
